The powder is made of cornstarch and natural food coloring\, so it’s safe and biodegradable. The color run is inspired by the Hindu festival of Holi\, which celebrates the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. \nTo make the most of the IAGS Picnic & Color Run\, here are some tips on how to enjoy the event: \n• Invite your friends and family: The more the merrier\, so invite your loved ones to join you for the picnic and color run. This February 23rd we welcome our members to join us at a new venue\, the Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton PA for a day of skiing\, snowboarding or snow tubing. For those more inclined to cozy up to a fire\, that’s available too! \nFire place at Blue Mountain Resort \nThis year\, in order to better manage the process and avail of group rates\, we will only be accepting online bookings and payments collected directly by IAGS. SUMMARY:2018 IAGS Whitewater Rafting Trip
DESCRIPTION:It’s time to beat the heat and stay cool on the water! On August 11\, 2018 members can get together for a family friendly rafting trip riding class I and II rapids on the Lehigh River. Book your spot fast\, as this is a first come first serve trip! As was the case last year\, expect the whole experience to take 4 to 5 hours (not including travel time to the location)\, of which 2-3 will be on the river. What better way to spend the day than floating through a scenic valley\, swim in the water and take a break for lunch in the heart of nature? \nAges 5 plus are welcome and feel free to pack a lunch in an air-tight container or purchase a lunch at the rafting facility. The departure time is 12:35 pm sharp\, but we suggest you arrive at 11:35 am to fill out waivers or you will miss being part of the IAGS time slot or possibly not go on any trip and forfeit your money. So\, please be on time! \nAlternatively\, in the name of efficiency\, you can click here and fill out the waiver online before you arrive. DESCRIPTION:IAGS Holi 5K Walk & Festival 2016 (get flyer) will start with a 5K Run/Walk by Teen Committee members and their supporters.
